Hi, I use kubuntu and after years of having problems since hackshield is on metin2.es (i'm spanish) i finally could open their autopatcher and no error appeared, but then when i press start game i find this problem:
The worst thing is that it's the first time that i could open the game without using other .bin or anything, and the hackshield gives error!!! Any idea of how to solve it?

Beause Hackshield is packed with Themida.
Any packed game will never work under Linux/Unix systems.
If you can,try to unpack the launcher and disable Hackshield completely and then start the game (like i did).

Io non mi spiego come mai le software house (soprattutto quelle che producano giochi), si dedicano solo a winzozz

Perché usano le librerie DirectX,sono delle librerie per il rendering 3D e la programmazione che richiede l'integrazione del lavoro "tridimensionale",appunto,come giochi.
Le librerie DirectX sono esclusivamente Microsoft.

Prima di tutto questo non é necroposting perché é una guida . Q4wine é inutile e serve solo a riempirvi il sistema di librerie qt. Per avviare basta fare wine file.exe.Potete anche creare l'icona e il collegamento tramite il menú di gnome

Le librerie Qt ti serviranno lo stesso per molti altri programmi,quindi è inevitabile non scaricarle.

davvero un ottimo lavoro dev a me non partiva su wine e ho dovuto fare una virtual machine che non supportava piu di 256 mb di scheda video menomale che ho trovato sta guida ! +1 meritato !

Ho provato ad avviare il client del sg con la nuova release di wine e funziona perfettamente, ma non ho provato a loggare, comunque il launcher si apre
