Discussione Old timer thinking of returning after 10 years: looking for guild and game advice

Greetings - this coming December my oldest daughter will turn 10 years old. This will also mark 10 years since I stepped away from WoW. With the prospect of a Delta-variant winter ahead, I am thinking of getting back into the game.

Anyone have advice for a player who's been gone this long? My glory days were back during Lich King and I'm debating if it's going to just be too much of a (re) learning curve to be worth it.

Second question: any leads on guilds of parent + professional adults?

World of Warcraft is a lot accessible now than before, basically everything is "guided" and you will be introduced with the story on every feature they implemented in the new patch.

World of Wacraft is passing a really tough time tho, with the Blizzard scandal and the MMORPG crowd hyping other mmo's like FFXIV or New World and Lost Ark.
