We have finally released our long-awaited exclusive Pet System!
Dear players,
The time has come! The so awaited by you, pet system, is now ready for release. We appreciate your patience. So we hope you enjoy it at its max now. Below we’re going to explain some of the basics on how it works. As this should be a unique experience you’re going to have to find how some of the mechanics work on your own.
Jong-Chug, also known as the town animal’s breeder, is going to be waiting you as you reach level 40. He’s going to explain you how does the system work and as you feel ready to join this new adventure with your new best friend, you can buy one of the pet seals from his shop.
This is some information you might find useful in the future, so keep it in mind:
Pet stats
•
Special attribute: Every different pet has a different unique characteristic that will distinguish its power from any other’s and will influence the way it is raised:
- Lion is known as the most aggressive of the pets, while Boar is the most loyal of them all. Also you might find Tiger a good protector of your legacy, but Wolf will always be the most perceptive of all the creatures.
•
Happiness: This stat will increase slowly but surely as you spend more and more time taking care of your pet. For this stat to increase your pet *must* be summoned.
•
Loyalty: What a better proof of loyalty than your pet’s help, killing your most feared enemies? This stat will increase as you kill someone from another kingdom. Note: killing the same enemy multiple times won’t have any effect.
Cheheom Souls
There are three different kinds of cheheom souls available for you to train your pet. These three precious elixirs can be found at Jong-Chug’s store. Below, a description on how they are going to influence your pet’s growth.
•
Aggression: Increased by Red Cheheom. The higher a pet’s aggression is, the higher will be the amount of extra damage that your evolved pet – mount – will give you.
•
Perception: Increased by Blue Cheheom. The higher a pet’s perception is, the higher will be the amount of avoiding chance that your evolved pet – mount – will give you.
•
Sturdiness: Increased by Green Cheheom. The higher a pet’s sturdiness is, the higher will be the amount of extra defense that your evolved pet – mount – will give you.
Note: The amount of required souls for a stat to get to the next level will increase along with the stat’s level. Meaning that from level 3 to 4 of a pet’s stat, the amount of cheheom souls needed, will be smaller than from level 5 to 6, for example.
Note 2: Do not ignore the Cheheom Souls’ description and Jong-Chug’s advices. These are of extreme importance!
Evolution
When your pet reaches level 50, you will have the chance to evolve it to a powerful and useful mount. This is up to your choice at this point, but bear in mind that the sooner you evolve your pet, the lesser will be its power.
Pet replacement
If you have fought for a period alongside with your buddy and you find that he’s not worth of the name you’ve given to him, you can buy the Byeonhwa Scroll from Item Shop and change it.
If you’re not satisfied with your pet choice, you always have the chance of getting a new one. For that, all you have to do is to buy a new pet seal at Jong-Chug’s store and use it. This will delete all the progress you’ve done so far and it can only be done once in 24 hours.
Hotkey
In order to check your pet's progress and to summon/unsummon it, you have to click [P]. A window like this will appear:
