Permadeath Server
The Project
This server is meant to give players appropriate challanges for every task in the game.
Since this project has been started with the only purpouse of playing a more efficent and balanced version of the game with no profit aim, we don't want any kind of advertisement or credit. The client itself has been cleaned and every menù or loading screen won't have any name referring the server or else, except from a little sign in the login page.
Giving every player an appropriate challange is the core of our project.
To achieve this we redesigned the whole game progression focusing on 3 points:
1. Making the game more balanced
The Game
DISCLAIMER: THIS SERVER IS HAMACHI BASED and is meant to be challanging and difficult. We're not looking for numbers, we're looking for players. We are aware that maybe 1 out of 100 metin2 players would like to play on this server, but for everyone who wants to play in a fair and balanced game, with differences from player to player, this server awaits you.

Hamachi Networks: At this moment beta testing is still running, you can still join the server but only if one of the following network has still room. Characters of the Beta Test Will be deleted at the official launch.

Further Maths
We wrote a function returning a parabola which includes mob spanw per zone per minute per average gold given and average items given. Monetized the value of items looted and as a sum of this gold plus the average gold earned over a minute, we have the gold parabola. Once this parabola is congruent to the one made with experience point per minute per level we are sure there will be no farming oasis or golden zones and every content can be enjoyed. We're sorry we can't get any more specific but we decided not to distribute those functions at this moment.

The Project

To achieve this we redesigned the whole game progression focusing on 3 points:
1. Making the game more balanced
- Each race have been adjusted making changes to the skill table, some effects have been removed and many others modified.
- Monsters and Bosses have been adjusted according to the level progression, there will be no easy grinding zones.
- Each race have been tested to reach maximum level playing alone. While there will be still a net difference among races, now eveyone can compete.
- Looted items, Boxes, Yang and experience have been set manually following a mathematical function which returns a parabola congruent to the level progression one. (Further explaination can be found at the bottom of this document, but no maths will be distributed at the moment.)
- End game gear is now obtainable by appropriate challanges, Enchant Item timer has been set to 5 minutes. Those changes allow playing characters to be different: no timer on bonus would cause every player to have perfect bonuses on every item, basically making bonuses useless, while no effort on end game gear would have no sense at all.
- Guild buildings and money sistem have been fixed, new essential funciont have been assigned to guild buildings which stores funds for guilds.
- Devil Tower has new features which are explained below in the document, Beran Setaou & Mighty Ice Witch along with the 9th floor Grim Reaper are the meta-bosses needed to get hands on end game gears. The old buggy Lord Ghost Tree has now a reason to live.
- Every vanilla map has now a function.
- Every element, including quest objectives, quest reward, not-playing characters function, items and gears, which has become pointless in a private server or has always been bugged/useless/unbalanced, now is an useful game content which players can enjoy. The Game

Features:
- Drop, Yang, Experience rates are calculated in relationship with the game progression parabola.
- Quests and rewards have been adjusted to give an appropriate challange and income.
- Vanilla upgrade items have been kept.
- Biologist quests level 92, 94, 96 have been modified:

- New Guild system:
- 2 new guild lands can be acquired in each capital
- Guild Alchemists are now essential for developing the maximum pontential of a character
- New Functions have been assigned to the old Weaponsmith, Armoursmith and Accessory Designer:
- Weaponsmith: he will now forge for anyone some special items (Blacksmith' Handbook, Demon Bone Earring, Monster Bone Earring)
- Armourmisth: he will now forge for anyone end game shields (Falcon Shield, Tiger Shield, Lion Edge Shield, Dragon Scale Shield)
- Accessory Designer: he will now open two special shops at a given price (Screenshots of those shops below)
- Guild Leader can now withdraw guild funds. Guild leader will have those funds charged on their Guild Management Window, where they can be converted to yang or useful-item/boons for the whole guild
- Enchant Item has now 5 minutes recharge time. This will grant good bonus to be more valuable.
- Horse Medal system has been modified: the average amount of medals required to improve your riding skill from 0 to 21 has been set to 100.(More explaination about this below in the document)
- Each monkey dungeon has its drop rate adjusted.
- Horse combact skill can now be trained to Perfect Master. To train Horse combact skill above M1 you have to loot Champion Horse Medal from Lord Ape. Once trained to Perfect Master, Horse combact skills are lethal weapons.
- To prevent everyone to exploit low level content with Horse combact skills the average amount of medal neeeded to train your riding skill from 11 to 21 has been set to 85.
- Devil Tower has been modified:
- 3rd floor boss drops Reward Crystals which can be used for extra free upgrades at 6th floor.
- 6th floor Weaponsmith, Armoursmith and Accessory Designer have now additional functions:
- Weaponsmith will now sell every upgrade item but pearls.(Screenshots Below)
- Armoursmith will now sell evocation symbols. (Screenshots Below)
- Accessory Designer will now sell some gears. (Screenshots Below)
- 9th floor boss strenght and looted items have been ajdusted.
- Weapons and gears have been modified to offer more options while building the character:
- Level 30 weapon now grants Strenght against Monsters.
- Level 75 weapon now grants Strenght against Monsters.
- Level 90 weapons have different bonuses which allow you to sharpen your power through a specific character's aspect.
- Golden Necklace has its Arrow Resistance Bonus switched with Ebony Necklace's Vitality. This will grant a better balance with ores and alchemists
- Amethyst Necklace's and Crystal Bracelet's Hp regeneration bonus have been modified.
- Level 61 shields are now difficult to obtain. (They were too strong for no effort given)
- Ecstasy Shoes, Leather Boots and Nimbus Boots have their base bonus modified.
- Withe Gold Bracelet's and Ebony Earrings' Max Hp Bonus have been modified.
- While Building a Character it will be necessary to put more effort on some traits, you will discover more while playing the game and following quests.
- Skill table has been totally renewed:
- Warrior Arahan Force:
- Berserk now grants cast speed and attack speed
- Aura of the Sword now has a Latent power
- Warrior Partisan Force:
- Power Slash now has a Latent power
- Strong Body now grants Max Hp instead of defence
- Strong Body now has a Latent power
- Ninja Stealth Combact:
- Ghost Attack now has a Latent power
- Camouflage now grants a second cast of another skill (Once trained to Perfect Master, lower grades grant lower recharge reduction)
- Ninja Archery:
- Fire Arrow now applys burning
- Fire Arrow now has a Latent power
- Feather walk now grants critical strike chance.
- Sura Magic Weaponry:
- Rupture now has a Latent power
- Magic Sword now has a Latent power
- Magic Armor now has a Latent power
- Sura Black Magic:
- Flame Strike now has a Latent power
- Spirit Strike now has a Latent power
- Shaman Dragon Force:
- Shooting Dragon now has a Latent power
- Dragon's Shout now has a Latent power
- Shaman Light Force:
- Lightning Claw now has been reworked: each subsequent hit will have increased damage.
- Cure now has a Latent power
- Attack Up now grants a greater bonus

How to play
- Unpack PermadeathClient.7z folder in any directory
- Open the directory you extracted called PermadeathClient and launch as administrator the link "PermadeathLaunch" OR open the folder containing the client's flies and folders named ClientPermadeath and run Permadeath.exe as administrator.
- If any error occurs to you, you can check the launcher for compatibility problems and select Windows 7 as previous working system.
