Buongiorno popolo di Inforge,
oggi ho finalmente deciso di pubblicare un nuovo lavoro iniziato a fine dell'anno scorso.
Si tratta di un pacchetto di prodotti opensource customizzati da me per creare il sito web di server di metin2.
Questo pacchetto è qualcosa di nuovo rispetto ai CMS che avete sempre visto, dove una delle caratteristiche principali è che è composto da prodotti free e open source tra i più conosciuti. Questa caratteristica permette la customizzazione ed estensione del pacchetto e dei singoli prodotti molto più semplice ed efficace, ed è per questo che apro questo topic qua.
Vorrei avere idee e suggerimenti da parte di utenti, staff e amministratori, così da migliorare ulteriormente il pacchetto proposto. Queste idee e suggerimenti che proporrete verranno discussi tra me e tra di voi e successivamente ne valuterò la fattibilità e deciderò se e quando inserirle nelle nuove versioni.

With this custom version of the famous internet forum PhpBB you can do what you want easiest! It’s simple to use, open source, free and a very big community, with a lot of addons and styles.
This is the first page that your users will see. Here they can create a new master account and use it in all of the included tools and also in game.
Centralized account
Many users are bored about many account to remember and account theft. There is a solution!
Users can use only one account always, also for game. They need to remember only one “master” account and manage all his game account from that.
There is also a security improvement: when someone tried to login from a different IP, he must confirm his login by email.
After login, players can manage their game accounts and play with the selected one without enter another password or username.
All website product are connected with the same LDAP server, so all login information is equal for all the products.
Chat
“Metin2 classic chat (pvt) is very orrible! I usually use external chat to chat with my friends, but there is the problem that it’s difficult to find other players.”
With rocket.chat you can solve this problem and give a more beautiful chat system, with all account integrated, to permit users to chat each other and create groups. The chat work also when a user is offline. He can read the message later or he can set a notification via email.
This chat is web based, so it’s not locked to game client, but it can be used when you are offline in game. There is also the official app for smartphones and a windows client.
There is also the possibility to create channels. The default one “general” permit to write to all users together, also if they are offline. Similar to chat “global” in game.
Livechat
Do you hate write or receive message in global like this: “I search GMMM!!1!!!11!” or “GM CONTAKT ME!!!1!1!1!!”?
Rocket.chat have a live chat, like professional services. Staff can login to rocket.chat where they want, also without login on game and give support to users.
Users can ask help in a fast and simple way, directly to the web site. Live chat, by default, appear on bottom of your forum page when at least one staff member are online.
Stats
Usually there is only a simple player ranking and at most a guild ranking. Now you can extend this stats with a lot of other, that can help your players and you to know more of your game and its utilization.
All of this stats are graphed by Grafana, that show you what you want in a beautiful and interactive dashboards and panels.
By default there are a lot of stats, but create new one is simple.
You can also integrate interactive panel where you want in your or external website.
Ticket
Your player can interact with staff bylivechat, but they can also interact by a ticket system, based on osTicket, one of the best open source ticket system.
Itemshop
This web version of itemshop is different from others. It’s based to wordpress plugin’s Easy Digital Download, that permit you to create your itemshop in a graphical and simple way.
You can personalize the style with a lot of possibilities.
You can add a lot of payments gateway.
You can sell not only items, but also custom actions, defined by quest.
Login is not required and a user can buy something for other users, sharing only a serial number.
Open Source
All of this products are free and open source, with big community behind. So you can personalize it easily helping with documentations, forums and also buying enterprise support for most exigent needings.
For support you don’t need to depend to only one person, but you can ask also for free to the community.
For each product in this bundle there is a big market for styles and addons, that permit you to create your personalized website, based on your needs.
