il server è validissimo.. gameplay fluido e mai noioso.. non serve shoppare..fai tanti soldi gia dai primi livelli..basta saper come muoverti e come vendere item. (la torre è una fonte di soldi ).

Dear players and members of the Velor2 community,

We would like to address some of your questions that have been circulating over the past days.

What happened?

- We have faced an exploit that was opening player's CMDs to cause chaos and have attempted to destroy our server by manipulating players into thinking that they got hacked through our client, which was not the case, as everything that has happend was completly harmless.
- Our case was totally diferent from the one posted on m2dev. That's how it started and eventually it ended up being way worse than expected.

Is the server secured now?

After long hours of constant work and stress, we have managed to find and imobilize the problem!
Our server is fully secured and nothing that has happend will ever happen again.

What's happening next?

We have prepared big updates for the upcoming period, alltho this problem has turned ourselfs upside down, we are still ready to work and bring the best updates we can. To be a bit more specific, the next update will be something new for metin2.

We know that we lack communication and we want to apologize for that. This issue has been critical and we never expected to face such problem.

In conclusion, we would like to extend our deepest gratitude to all the players and members of the Velor2 community who supported us during this trying time. Your trust in us and your commitment to Velor2 are the driving forces that motivate us to continue providing you with the best possible gaming experience. Hello, we understand that our first announcement was quite vague, we will try to explain in short everything happened so far.

There were two attacks, one done through the hyperlink exploit, fixed from within a short maitenance, and a second one that was exploited from internal. We stated that the virus was "harmless" because the one who launched the attack had totally other intentions than to harm players. We investigated almost each version of the malware and the most recent ones just launched more cmd's to scare people more and more.

Some intern team members have been infected as well, if the attacker's intentions were to harm they would of started with us and also they would of done it by now. Alltho these may seem just speculations, the story goes even deeper.

In our statement, we aim to convey that all events leading up to the present have been orchestrated to undermine Velor's reputation. From the inception of Velor, we have maintained our stance firmly, which, unfortunately, has prompted certain factions to act against us. Our primary objective remains to foster a stable and professional gaming environment.

We sincerely regret the manner in which these events have unfolded. Our preference would have been to handle this situation with greater professionalism; however, this was our first encounter with such a unique issue. We are committed to learning from this experience to improve our response in future scenarios.

E' stata scoperta una vulnerabilità RCE all'interno del client di Velor2, lo staff non ha gestito brillantemente la comunicazione con gli utenti non essendo perfettamente chiara, la vulnerabilità poteva permettere ad attaccanti di eseguire codice sui vostri computer. Attualmente non vi sono prove che i vostri dati personali siano stati messi a rischio. Tuttavia è giusto informarvi. Inforge ha potuto verificare indipendentemente quanto accaduto. E' difficile delineare il perimetro dell'attacco con così poche informazioni.

Confermo il quanto detto da Max, sfortunatamente è accaduto.. Velor è un server che ha raggiunto numeri alti, ha tanti nemici tra i vari server internazionali, e queste cose possono capitare.. Prendiamo esempio Cs Go2, che fino a qualche settimana fa c'era un Exploit simile in game che tramite GIF arrivavano direttamente al tuo indirizzo ip/pc...

Dopo varie scansioni e verifiche (parole dello staff di Velor), il CMD installato tramite il loro Patcher era completamente vuoto e non aveva nessun collegamento verso terzi siti o altri exploit dannosi..semplicemente era impostato ad aprirsi ogni X minuti per crear allarmismi.

(chi gira sui internazionali da un pò ormai lo conoscono.. è un GURU della cybersecurity e altri lavori inerenti), l'attacco verso velor è stato risolto.. ad oggi non ci sono stati reclami o persone che abbiano fatto intendere di aver subito qualche perdita di dati personali.
 
Buonasera. Giocavo a Metin2 anni fa e mi è venuta nostalgia, ma non è più lo stesso. Sarei interessato a giocare qui, la gilda è attiva? Ci sono giocatori attivi in ogni momento della giornata?

Ciao, sì.. la Gilda è ancora attiva.. non come a dicembre che eravamo tutti a casa in ferie, ma comunque giornalmente giocatori ci sono.. se inizi sei il benvenuto! Conta che la maggioranza italiana sta dai Rossi..

Server bellissimo, gioco da un mese, però non riesco a trovare una gilda di soli italiani con discord, qualcuno conosce una gilda?

Attualmente il server è maggiormente farm.. a 4 mesi quasi dal apertura.. non è stata ancora fatta la prima arma zodiaco +9.. si rissa sui boss/streghe ma nulla di più, ogni tanto qualcuno al villo

Si, il server richiede impegno, però se uno approfitta degli eventi si alza presto! Vi ricordo che domani parte l’evento di San Valentino .. posterò il preview qui.. ma per 2/3 settimane che dura, dovrebbe boostare abbastanza ! Poi il dungeon nuovo fatto per livelli 60/90-90/105 .. si fan abbastanza soldi! Dei miei gildani lv 75 han fatto anche 10/15kkk a run.
